A PEAK AT THE PAST
At Lemon Tree Inn, we pride ourselves in carrying on the legacy of exceptional hospitality and comfort that has defined our establishment for years. Our team is dedicated to providing you with every comfort, convenience and amenity you might need during your stay.
ATTENTION TO DETAIL
We handle the details, so you don’t have to.
We believe that what elevates an experience from enjoyable to exceptional is the attention to detail. It’s the little, unexpected touches along the way that we all remember, and our mission is to provide those in all that we do.
HISTORY
1960
The Original Lemon Tree Motor Hotel was built in 1960 on the site of a Horse Pasture and included our First 38 Guest Rooms, our Large Swimming Pool, Meeting Room, Lobby and Porte Cochere with its Landmark Zig-Zag Roof.
1965
In 1965 part of the Original Mountain View Auto Court Property was sold to the Alpha Beta Grocery Company which became a very successful Grocery Store location and Shopping Center.
1993
The Lemon Tree Inn was expanded to include 58 more guest rooms and a restaurant and bar were added. The Crocodile Restaurant and Bar is now an award winning restaurant loved by locals.
TODAY
The essence of the Original Auto Court can still be felt at the Lemon Tree and we are respectful of it's 1960s heritage. The understated elegance and functional arrangement of our hotel make the Lemon Tree a unique and memorable experience.
Our Commitment to the Arts
We take immense pride in our longstanding commitment to supporting local arts and entertainment. As proud sponsors of the Santa Barbara Bowl, we believe in the power of music to unite communities and enhance the cultural fabric of our city. Additionally, our partnership with the Santa Barbara Film Commission reflects our dedication to fostering the cinematic arts.
These collaborations are not just sponsorships; they are a testament to our belief in the transformative impact of the arts, and we are honored to play a role in the enrichment of Santa Barbara's cultural landscape.
